Ever wanted that Soho House experience but watch with envy while others stay at their exclusive members-only hotel rooms? Jealousy, be gone! Get the Soho House experience without being a member and at an affordable price by staying at Mollie's Motel.

A Houseofhuntingon.com favourite, Mollie's Motel one of the latest brainchild of Nick Jones, found of Soho House and Soho Farmhouse. You already know this isn't just a "motel".

The whole definition of the boujeepeople.com brand is luxury without the high price tag. Mollie's Motel is the hotel version of that.

It has the comforts and luxurious oasis-like hideaway vibes of a Soho House hotel but at stays from £70/night, you can't be surprised why we love it there.

We booked to stay at the Oxfordshire location during one of our shopping pilgrimages to Bicester Village and appreciated how away from civilisation the location was. The first thing we noticed was the Americana inspired bright red motel sign inviting us in as we drove through. It even has a diner serving fried chicken and waffles which were definitely needed after our long journey from Doncaster.

Even though the theme is American vintage, we were thrilled to find everything was caught up with the generation we're in. All you need is your phone. The digital check-in provided us with an in-app key so no human interaction needed (there is a reception to manually check-in if you're more old school).

Our high-spec double room was a minimalist's dream. It seemed like it came out of a Pinterest board. In a Japandi (Japanese and Scandi) aesthetic, the warm oak wooden features with sage green and slate details provides a cosy retreat.

The first thing we did was to check out the bathroom (of course) and we were immediately impressed with the rainforest shower that belted down with great force. In keeping with the Soho House brand, the Cow Shed lotions and potions were not scarce. In fact, the addition of the Cow Shed products led us to purchasing some of their toiletries available at the General Store (their reception).

Soho House's hotels are talked about because of not just how they're aesthetically pleasing but also because of their oh-so-comfy beds and we are happy to report that it isn't a myth. The beds were a dream and star fishing on them is mandatory for optimum appreciation. If you know, you know. Something else to appreciate is the blackout blinds and light dimmers. Their climate controllers kept us lovely and cool during that one very hot summer's day.

As for in-room entertainment, use your digital remote on the app to switch channels. You'll be glad to know you can continue your binge-a-thon because you can also access Netflix and YouTube on the TV.

Coffee fiends will be thrilled to find Soho House's teas and coffees instead of the usual Nescafe. There is also unlimited coffee and a variety of your favourite teas at their reception which you can take away in their instagrammable cups.

We filled up our cups and headed to the lounge area to set ourselves up on the General Store's sofas so we could plot out Bicester Village strategy - you absolutely need one but that's for another blog post.

Now, remember this is in the middle of nowhere so you should only come here for a staycation or if you're stopping the night to move on the next day. There is no where for you to walk to and the nearest Maccies is 25 minutes away (we checked). Don't worry, the food in the diner will hit the spot.

As business owners, we have followed Nick Jone's journey in awe. He always knows what the customers want. He's proven it's possible to provide a 5* luxury experience to people with a Premier Inn budget - the irony being the nearest Premier Inn at Oxford costing more. We would highly recommend for our customers to stay at the Mollie's Motel.
